Memories I ja II
In these exhibition objects I wanted to work unusual way for me and try to find new way to process my ideas. I wanted to start to work from the beginning with final material without sketching or testing ideas by drawing. I jump from designer´s role to the role of craftsman.
Creating form by weaving small elements together is somehow very meditative and gives space for thoughts. Final form is built by cooperation of eye and hand.
I have allowed myself to forget critical look of goldsmith concerning techniques. At the same time I have allowed myself to let memories to go, which is necessary to seek and find new directions and paths.
